Partner Program Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement applies to Booking.com International B.V., Oosterdokskade 163, 1011 DL Amsterdam, the Netherlands, (“Booking.com“ or “we”) and describes how Booking.com collects and uses the information, which may include personal data, collected and further processed as part of operating the Booking.com Partner Program, including personal data processed as part of the use of the Partner Portal accessible on https://relocatewith.booking.com or an online platform hosted via social media sites (“Portal” or Booking.com Partner Program and Portal together referred to as “the Booking.com Partner Program”).
Data Collection
To enable you to participate in the Booking.com Partner Program, including to grant you access to and to enable your use of the Portal, Booking.com collects the following information, some of which may be personal data:
Contact details: we collect your contact information such as first name and last name and country of origin.
Partner details: we collect your partner’s name, partner’s Booking.com department and your partner’s Booking.com employee ID.
Other information: if provided by you, we collect information such as your gender, your arrival date in the Netherlands or other country of relocation, your profession, language skills, interests, profile photo, location (postal code for map) and other information which you may decide to provide, including registrations to events and for other services offered as part of the Booking.com Partner Program and messages sent via the Portal.
Most of the personal data we process is information that you knowingly provide to us. However, in some instances, we process personal data that we are able to infer about you based on other information you provide to us or on our interactions with you, or personal data about you that we receive from a third party with your knowledge (e.g. information received from an integration coach).
Data we collect automatically
When using the Portal, Booking.com also collects information automatically, some of which may be personal data. This includes data such as language settings, IP address, location, device settings, device OS, log information, time of usage, URL requested, status report, user agent (information about the browser version), operating system, browsing history and type of data viewed. Booking.com may also collect data automatically through cookies for technical and analytical purposes. Processing Purposes
We use the information collected about you, some of which may be personal data, for the following purposes:
- Enable the usage of our Portal: we use information that we collect to allow you to register for our Portal and to use our Portal, including to, upon your request, register you for events and services offered as part of the Booking.com Partner Program.
- Verification: we use your partner’s Booking.com employee ID to verify whether you are eligible to use the Portal.
- Communications: we use your information to enable you to communicate with other members of the Portal, for example through our messaging tool, discussion groups and events page.
- Perform analytics as to the use of our Portal: we use information that we collect to analyze how our Booking.com Partner Program is used and to improve your user experience and the quality of the Booking.com Partner Program.
- Surveys: we may use your personal data conducting opinion and satisfaction surveys.
- Promoting a safe and trustworthy service: we may use your personal data for the detection and prevention of fraud and other illegal or unwanted activities. Similarly, we may use personal data for risk assessment and security purposes, including the authentication of users.
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations, handling and resolving legal disputes, regulatory investigations and compliance, or complying with lawful requests from law enforcement.
Legal Bases
In view of purpose A to C, Booking.com relies on its legitimate interest to invite you to participate in the Booking.com Partner Program. With your consent, Booking.com will register you for the Booking.com Portal and enable you to use additional services, such as participation in events and making use of selected services, such as coaching services. Once registered, Booking.com relies on the legal basis that the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of your agreement with Booking.com. If you do not provide the requested information, Booking.com cannot register you on the Portal or enable you to use the Portal. In view of purpose D and F, Booking.com relies on its legitimate business interest to improve the Booking.com Partner Program, to prevent fraud and secure its services. When using personal data to serve our legitimate interest, Booking.com will always balance your rights and interests in the protection of your information against Booking.com’s rights and interests. For purpose G, Booking.com relies on compliance with legal obligations. Where needed under applicable law, Booking.com will obtain your consent prior to processing your personal data for the above purposes.

Data Sharing
Sharing With Affiliates: in order to support the use of the Portal, your information which may include personal data may be shared with subsidiaries of the Booking.com corporate family for example to enable the use of the Partner Program, for security, including fraud detection and prevention purposes, for analytics, for legal and compliance purposes, or as part of our human resources processes..To find out everything you need to know about the Booking.com corporate family, visit About Booking.com.
Sharing with Booking Holdings Inc. as the ultimate parent company: The ultimate parent company of the Booking.com group of companies, Booking Holdings Inc., may receive certain personal data, such as your contact details for purposes of ensuring compliance with group-wide policies and applicable laws, complying with requests from public authorities, such as governmental requests, conducting internal investigations, addressing litigation related issues.
Sharing With Third-Parties: we share your information, which may include personal data, with third parties as permitted by law and as described below. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- Service Providers. We share your information with third party service providers to provide the Booking.com Partner Program, including to support your participation in events and use of our services, store data and/or maintain the Portal. When registering for events, your name and email address may be passed onto the event facilitator so they can reach out to you directly, if you decide to share any further information with them this is at your own discretion.
- Compelled Disclosure: when legally required, strictly necessary for the performance of the Portal, or to protect our rights, or the rights of Booking Holdings Inc. group of companies or users, we disclose your information to governmental authorities including law enforcement, any of the affiliates part of Booking Holdings Inc., or in legal proceedings.
International Data Transfers
The transmission of personal data as described in this Privacy Statement may include overseas transfers of personal data to countries whose data protection laws are not as comprehensive as those of the countries within the European Union. Where required by European law, Booking.com shall only transfer personal data to recipients offering an adequate level of data protection. In these situations, as may be required, we make contractual arrangements to ensure that your personal data is still protected in line with European standards. Security
Booking.com observes reasonable procedures to prevent unauthorized access to, and the misuse of, information including personal data. We use appropriate business systems and procedures to protect and safeguard information including personal data. We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal data on our servers. Only authorized personnel are permitted to access personal data in the course of their work.
Data Retention
We will retain your information, which may include personal data for as long as we deem it necessary to enable you to participate in the Partner Program, to use the Portal, to enable us to comply with applicable laws, resolve any disputes and otherwise to allow us to conduct our business, including to detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities. All personal data we retain will be subject to this Privacy Statement.
Your Choices and Rights
We want you to be in control of how your personal data is used by us. You can do this in the following ways:
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- You can inform us of any changes to your personal data, or you can ask us to correct any of the personal data we hold about you;
- In certain situations, you can ask us to erase, or block or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, or object to particular ways in which we are using your personal data; and

Data Collection
When entering the Site, Booking.com automatically collects data using Cookies.
